Our team was entrusted with the crucial mechanical pipework installation and refurbishment of two operating theatres, an endeavour that required not only technical expertise but also a commitment to enhancing patient safety and operational efficiency.
Moreover, our project scope included a dynamic upgrade to the theatres' Fire Strategy, ensuring compliance with the most current regulations.
We successfully supplied, installed, and commissioned approximately 35 smoke fire dampers linked back to the building control panel. This critical installation plays a vital role in fire safety management within the hospital.
Through innovative planning and meticulous project management, we were able to complete the mechanical pipework installation ahead of schedule.
This early completion allowed ample time for thorough testing and commissioning, ensuring that the project was executed seamlessly within the controlled environment of the anaesthetic and theatre rooms.
